I think we all know the list of people that definitely had a worse weekend than us: Tristian Thompson, Jordyn Woods, Jussie Smollett, R.Kelly, and Robert Kraft, just to mention a few. It would be so easy for me to just go there, but I’m not going to because A.) it’s boring and B.) some of those stories are just sad. So let’s see who else had a bad weekend, shall we?
My main question after watching the Fyre Festival doc on Netflix was how is Ja Rule not in jail? I really don’t understand how Billy whats-his-face is in jail while Ja just walks around free. But I suppose that Ja is in his own special kind of hell, as evidenced by what went down this weekend.
Ja performed during the halftime of the Milwaukee Bucks’ game on Saturday and to say it didn’t go well was an understatement. First, the theme of the show was ‘90s night – which makes no sense since Ja had his first hit in 1999. At least he had a sense of humor about it, as he pointed it out to the crowd.
But the performance itself didn’t go well – there were issues with the sound production, the crowd wasn’t into it, and then Giannis Antetokounmpo and some of this teammates decided to just start shooting around in the middle of Ja’s performance.
But the bright side? “Always On Time” still goes.
Jordyn Woods may have lost her Kylie-gravy-train, but let’s not forget that it was Khloé that was cheated on. Of course, my sympathies are diminished since she should have dumped Tristian’s ass when she cheated while he was pregnant.
But putting that aside, Ms. Kardashian is dragged in her time of distress by the one person who should be espousing love above all else: Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss. Fleiss implied in a string of tweets over the weekend that baby True’s momma may be the next Bachelorette:
And then Kim decided to chime in for some reason:
And as you can see, KoKo was not having it:
Then Fleiss struck back with a flash of wit:
Honestly, I’m Team #Fleiss here. A reality show professional as The Bachelorette? Genius. And let’s be honest – Khloé hasn’t exactly had the best luck finding her own dudes, had she?
Honestly, this woman is such a train wreck so her having legal trouble isn’t exactly shocking, but here we are again.
Abraham signed two leases for her F&S by Farrah and Sophia Laurent Boutiques at the Oaks at Lakeway Mall in Lakeway, TX back in 2016.
Both were for 5 years, but the stores closed in September 2018 and Abraham stopped paying rent. Obviously, the mall wasn’t too thrilled and their lawyers filed suit against Abraham over unpaid rent. Her response? Well, according to the mall’s suit, an attorney representing Farrah’s boutiques responded that they have “no intentions on making any further payments under the lease agreement,” which total $101,212.50.
There are so many porn jokes that could be made here, but I’m better than that. Although, I’m betting Farrah’s going to wind up paying out the ass.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With a 5-11 record this year, I’m not sure that anyone was actually eager to get their hands on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers playbook, but it may have been an accidental benefit to some thieves this weekend.
Bucs running back Peyton Barber was visiting Atlanta when his SUV was broken into early Saturday morning. Among the items stolen? A passport, some other items – and a tablet that police say contained playbook information.
The team actually disputes that there any team information on the tablet, saying “We were able to remotely disable the Surface tablet once we were informed. There was no playbook info on the computer, just some self scout videos, etc. … nothing of much importance.”
Which is totally what you would say if your whole damn playbook was on that tablet. But again – who is looking to emulate Jameis and Co. anyway?
Listen, no one loves animals more than those of us here at The Clock Out. In fact, we will be bringing you a pet of the week every Friday! So while Peta’s pro-animal stance is generally a good thing, they occasionally (ok, more than occasionally – I personally can’t look at their Twitter feed) go too far with their antics, and Friday was no exception.
On Friday, the group took to Twitter to criticize Google’s daily doodle, which was in honor of the late Steve Irwin’s birthday:
And the internet was not having it:
Honestly, PETA – do better.
