Criminal Of The Week: Florida Man Sets Own Car On Fire

A man in Florida decided to take matters into his own hands after his car was impounded last week. Ayub Mule Abdulrahman went to Almake Auto Shop to pay a towing fee for his Nissan Altima. Something was wrong, however, because soon his car was on fire.

An employee called the owner of the shop, Darnell Adams, and told him a car was on fire in his tow lot. After reviewing video surveillance, the owner discovered Absulraham hurling Molotov cocktails at the vehicle. Adams put the fire out and called police.

Abdulrahman, 27, was arrested nearby and is now being charged with arson and manufacturing and transporting a firebomb.

I am all for creating homemade firebombs and launching them at things, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think setting your own car on fire is the right move here. Unless you’ve committed some really bad crimes, which our boy Ayub might have, there’s no reason to torch your wheels.

Ayub, if you ever want to come do some redneck shit with ya boi, then holler at me when you get out of jail. I’ll show you how to make a real firebomb.
