Greetings and salutations. It’s another glorious Friday wherever you may be. Why? Because, well, it’s Friday ANDDDDDDD it’s The Clock Out’s Pet of the Week time. You can view all of our past friends above.
Up today is a big boi named Blu. Blu comes to us from the land of America’s team (the Cowboys if you’re wondering) and his friend, Brad. Give him a like and follow.
Like some of the best pets, Blu is a rescue, estimated to be six but he’s been Brad’s buddy for a year and a half. Blu’s a black Labrador mix. He was found in a dumpster near Pete’s college town by friends. I too thought, “Wow, people are shit” when I read that.
After a stint in rehab with Pete’s friends, the next natural and logical process was to bequeath ol’ Blu to his now furever home aka Brad’s place. I imagine he was fed a steady diet of pizza and love.
Blu has a taste for the finer things in life, namely: sleeping, sunning hisself on Pete’s balcony where I imagine he’s snoozin’ and getting pet by random people. He is a known bed ruiner and by this I mean he enjoys to unmake the bed. To be fair, anyone that makes their bed every morning is likely a serial killer.
Blu is not a fan of felines nor is he much of a cuddler. He makes up for his few shortcoming by being a good boy and the best friend anyone could ask for. Blu reminds me of my childhood black lab, Rocket, a retired and expired (RIP) big boi lab aka the English Labrador Retriever. These are the stocky labs, unlike the taller, more slender American Labrador Retriever. Thanks again, Peter, for sharing your friend Blu with us.
If you have a pet you’d like to highlight, whether it’s a dog, cat, bird, lizard, snake or what have you, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org titled, “Pet of the Week” along with some information about your pet, Twitter handle, a few pictures for the article and Twitter. I cannot promise when it will be published, but I will do my very best to bring a new face and story every Friday at noon for your viewing pleasure.
