Well friends, another week in the books. It’s been storming in my neck of the woods so thankfully, I don’t have to go water the grapevines. The strawberry patch is coming in nicely and should be moving into berry formation by next week.
Enough about that, lets get to why you’re actually here. This week, we have a little buddy by the name of Stewart as our featured Clock Out Pet of the Week. If you’re new here or would like to look at more animals, check out our past Clock Out Pet of the Week.
Stewart comes to us from reader Jordan Price. He’s an 11 year old Maltipoo but don’t let the age fool you, the guy has spunk. Stewart was originally Jordan’s wife’s dog but they’ve been married for seven years so he’s Stewart’s dad. As an adoptive animal parent myself, I have about 50 pics with the cats in varying embarrassing situations for myself and the cat.
If there’s one thing to say about Stewart, it’s the guy can light up a room. In every picture, Stewart has the happiest little doggy smile. I mean, how can you not love that smile? Dude is straight chillin’ all the time. I’ve been told on good authority that his chilling isn’t just in rafts and on couches but Stewart is an avid porch pup AKA one that enjoys the finer things in life like patio parties.
As I mentioned above, Stewart is way into playing. Little dogs have motors and his is always running, along with that patented smile. Our kid Stewart is also a thief. One of his hobbies includes stealing swills from his momma’s wine glass, specifically, Stewart has a penchant for white wine. He does this as a coping mechanism to get over Jon Snow not petting Ghost, among other things.
Stewart is a homie. My dogs love little dogs and should our paths cross someday, I hope they can play all day while we crack a few brews. Thank you very much to Jordan (and his wife because without her this wouldn’t be possible) and to our pal, Stewart. May your couch be comfy, your food bowl be full and your day filled with fun in the sun.
If you have a pet you’d like to highlight, whether it’s a dog, cat, bird, lizard, snake or what have you, please send me an email at email@example.com titled, “Pet of the Week” along with some information about your pet, Twitter handle, a few pictures for the article and Twitter. I cannot promise when it will be published, but I will do my very best to bring a new face and story every Friday at noon for your viewing pleasure.
